Tayport Breakers

About

The Tayport Breakers Baseball Club was founded in late 2019 by Jason West with great support from the local community. The team draws from several areas in the east of Scotland, including Dundee, Fife, Cupar, St. Andrews, and Perth.

The Breakers are represented in the SNBL’s AAA and A Divisions and offer competitive, fun playing opportunities for all skill levels. The team’s motto is CatchTheWave, as their home games are played at Tom Waddell Memorial Field, a beautiful field constructed by the players on the shoreline of the River Tay.

The Breakers endeavour to teach, play, and compete to a high level, so as to serve as an emissary of the sport, a leader within our own community, and to build a foundational program surrounding Scottish baseball that will last for years to come.

The Breakers have taken home plenty of silverware in recent seasons, including:

• 2022 "A" Scottish National Champions (Caledonia Classic)

• 2022 "AAA" Scottish National Champions (Caledonia Classic)

• 2023 "A" Scottish National Champions (Caledonia Classic)

• 2025 "AAA" SNBL League Champions
