Scotland National Team
International Success
Baseball Scotland has proudly sent competitive teams to represent the nation in tournaments and international friendlies across Europe and the UK. In addition, Baseball Scotland has played host to travel teams from as far as the United States.
The team’s crowning achievements were earned in 2001 when the team qualified for the Confederation of European Baseball tournament in Prague; and in 2019 when Baseball Scotland brought home the Battle of Britain championship trophy.
The 2025 campaign is off to a strong start. Scotland earned victories in all five games at the Team GB Spring Training Invitational and reached the finals of the 2025 London Tournament before rain washed out the championship game. The senior squad will be back in action later this summer at the UK’s premier tournament: The British Baseball Foundation’s Summer Cup!
Interest and Eligibility
The Scottish National Team has the primary goals of building a program that is capable of sustained international success and to enhance and promote the game of baseball in Scotland.
Eligibility to represent Scotland varies by competition. In most cases, players should have proof of Scottish residency or parentage.
