2026 SNBL Season Schedule Released
The Scottish National Baseball League has published the full schedule for the 2026 season, with Opening Day set for 12 April.
Eleven teams across two divisions will take to the diamond this spring, kicking off what promises to be the most competitive SNBL season yet. The 2026 campaign runs through a 20-week regular season before post-season play begins in September, with the Finals concluding no later than 4 October.
New Look for 2026
This season brings some significant changes to the league landscape. The Edinburgh Rays are making their SNBL debut, the Edinburgh Angels are stepping up to AAA, and the Glasgow Baseball Association will have a new entrant in the top flight of Scottish baseball. Although four AAA teams are based in Edinburgh this year, the road to the championship decidedly runs through Tayport. The Breakers are defending their 2025 double, having secured both the League Championship and Caledonia Classic Trophy.
The Single A division features five teams — Edinburgh Knights, Glasgow Galaxy, Glasgow Comets, Glasgow Eclipse (making their SNBL debut!), and the Tayport Breakers. Will 2026 see a continuation of the Comets’ dynasty run, or will another team claim the league title for the first time since 2022?
