Caledonia Classic Semi Finals on Deck

The Caledonia Classic brings the heat this weekend with high-stakes semifinals across both leagues. Winners advance to a best-of-three finals series, where postseason glory awaits.

Single A Semifinals

  • Edinburgh Angels (#4) @ Glasgow Comets (#1)
The Glasgow Comets enter as the dominant force in A League, boasting a league-best 12–2 record, while the Angels, newer to the league, stand at (4–10) head to Glasgow looking to shake up the playoffs with a major upset.
Keep an eye on Comets' ace pitcher Roberto Carlos Torres who finished with another standout performance this season.

  • Glasgow Galaxy (#3) @ Edinburgh Knights (#2)
The Knights enjoyed a strong season finishing 11–3, just behind the Comets. The Galaxy, with a solid 8–6 record, are battle-tested and will pose a challenge. Expect the Knights’ pitcher Jack Vickerman to anchor the home team’s effort while catcher Kieran Casey will lead the Galaxy offense with his red-hot bat.

Triple A Semifinals

  • Edinburgh Diamond Devils (#4) @ Tayport Breakers (#1)
Regular season AAA champions Breakers (10–4) are backed by last year’s AAA MVP Aven Fletcher, whose dual-threat performance has been key to the Breakers securing their first ever league championship.
The Diamond Devils (6–8), a storied club and reigning Caledonia Classic contenders, bring their experience to this underdog matchup and are likely to send rookie pitcher Nick Willoughby to the mound.

  • Glasgow Comets (#3) @ Edinburgh Cannons (#2)
The Cannons failed to secure the league championship for the first time since 2021, but nevertheless finished strong (9–5). Expect likely Pitcher of the Year winner Garrett Stell to take the ball for the Cannons.

The Comets (7–7), spoiled the Cannons’ chance at a four-peat in the last game of the regular season, and will be looking to send the Cannons home early behind pitcher JC Martes and rookie catcher Eddie Barrios.

What’s at Stake

Every team is just one win away from a spot in the finals. The Single A Comets are aiming to secure the Double, while the Breakers look to cap off their season with further postseason success.
